Regulations for Masters and Doctoral studies at the University of Ghana
The structure of the programme must reflect the content or components of the programme. It must be presented in a tabular form semester by semester, indicating course codes, course titles, and corresponding credits for each course.
The University is committed to ensuring that its staff and students do not plagiarize the work of others. This policy document, therefore, seeks to clearly define what plagiarism is, spell out the University's efforts at preventing plagiarism by staff and students, give the permissible extent and formats for citing the work of others, and what the sanctions for plagiarism are.
Following the approval of the UG Plagiarism policy, the TURNITIN software was introduced at the University of Ghana (UG) to facilitate the implementation of the policy. The introduction of the software at UG is one of the means to encourage faculty members, staff, and students to abide by one of the core values of the University of Ghana, which is Integrity.
